Find Your Instrument! (FYI!)
Good Mornin' Music!

Founded in 2001 by Joseph Fitzmartin and Steven Fisher, Commonwealth Youthchoirs (CY) is a non-profit organization that administers four programs for young singers: Keystone State Boychoir, Pennsylvania Girlchoir, Find Your Instrument! – an outreach progam in underserved schools – and Good Mornin’ Music! - an early music education experience for children in PreK thru Grade 2.

Under the leadership of Managing Director Steven Fisher, CY is committed to providing superior choral music education and performance opportunities for young people from diverse economic, racial and ethnic backgrounds and to pursuing artistic excellence that inspires performers and audiences alike.

Membership in our programs have grown to 500 young singers between the ages of 8 and 18, representing all five counties in the greater Philadelphia region. Our programs are located in the northwest section of Philadelphia. Our singers are proud to serve as young musical ambassadors for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, both at home and internationally.
